Stubersheim was founded in the 6th and 7th century by the Alemanni.
On 2 May 1092 Stubersheim was mentioned for the first time in a donation to the monastery of Schaffhausen.
The brothers Adelbert and Beringer are listed as witnesses in the document.
In the 12. th and 13th centuries St. John's Church was built.
For Stubersheim a medieval noble seat can be deduced from written sources, but it soon lost its importance.
It is located in the eastern part of the village.
The Lords of Stubersheim, who may have belonged to the higher nobility, named themselves after him.
In Ulm times Stubersheim was the seat of a bailiff.
Stubersheim came to Bavaria in 1803 , to the Oberamt Geislingen in 1810 and in 1938 to the district of Ulm.
The municipality of Stubersheim was incorporated into Amstetten on March 1, 1972 .
Was built in 1906 as an inn with guest rooms, at the same time opened the railroad line between Gerstetten and Amstetten.
1995 Dieter and Armin Junginger acquired the building.
In 2000 Carsten Junginger took over the house and has been running the restaurant ever since.
Since the seats are no longer sufficient, the winter garden is added in 2002 .
2022 the hotel will open across the street, so Carsten takes Bahnhöfle back to the beginning:
"Restaurant with accommodation"
By the way, our Bahnhöfle is still known as "Hotel" by the locals and the older generation.
